I believe a beautiful mind loves to learn. I read omnivorously and am in a book group. I've learned to handle all my finances. I'm big on new technology and social media. I also walk, play with my grandsons, and eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
As a human resources manager, I used yoga to relax. When I lost that job at 60 it was time to reinvent myself. I got back into yoga and entered a teacher training program. I was by far the oldest in the program, but I knew I was called to teach older and physically challenged people. I now teach Yoga for Creaky Bodies seven days a week.
Living this way has helped me deal with big changes in my life, including the deaths of both my father and husband. I haven't fallen into depression. My immune system seems strong.
